I think it's so great that you changed piano music. That nobody was going to tell you how to do what you loved. You obviously have a love for composing that nobody can change. And people shouldn't try an change that. It's lovely that you persued your dream and furthered just playing piano in general. It is just astonishing. Fantastic work, just fantastic.
I'm pretty sure that you are proud to say that you started a whole musical era! You have so many other things to be proud of too. The fact that you did what your family wanted you to do, just not the way that they expected you to. Another thing that I think is great about you is that you knew at such a young age that you could compose your own music. Confidence is such a good thing have!
To be quite frank you ushered in a new era for piano. You have accomplished much and gone far. You made a name for your self and stuck to it, that sir takes guts. and so you made your own music carved your own path and became quite renowned in the proses.
